How Do the O-Shot and P-Shot Work?
Platelet-rich plasma, or PRP, is harvested from a small amount of your blood. A centrifuge is used to separate the PRP, which has been proven to increase healing, tissue regeneration, and blood flow and can also stimulate the growth of new, healthy cells. A local anesthetic will be used to numb the treatment area while the PRP serum is being prepared. Even though injecting the serum into the vaginal area or penis is quick and easy, you may experience some sensitivity for a few days. It may take 1 – 2 weeks to see results and up to a month to achieve optimal results. Your results should last between 12 – 18 months, at which point maintenance treatments may be required.
