What Should I Expect with Laser Snoring Treatment?
During treatment, the laser sends pulses of energy to heat the inner tissues of the mouth gently. The pulses allow for the safe penetration of the tissue while applying adequate heat to positively change sleep patterns. Since the treatment is noninvasive, you can go about your regular activities once your session is complete. After the first session, you may notice a slight decrease in your symptoms. With each session, the treated tissue will regenerate and tighten so it may take some time to reach optimal results. Generally, laser snoring treatment will include three sessions within an eight-week period. The results have been shown to last approximately a year, and treatment can be repeated if necessary.
