What Should I Expect with BioTE Hormone Replacement Therapy?

To determine whether BioTE hormone replacement therapy would benefit you, a series of blood panels must be done to gain knowledge regarding your hormone levels. Once it has been determined that you are a good candidate, a treatment plan will be created for you by Dr. Harmon and her team. After using local anesthesia to ensure your comfort, the hormonal pellet will be inserted subcutaneously into the upper buttocks. Afterward, you will be advised to refrain from soaking in water for at least three days and from strenuous exercise for a week. You will need to return to have your hormone levels rechecked after 4 – 8 weeks to monitor your progress and make any necessary adjustments to your treatment plan.
